How to extend the service life of laser cutting machine

The main components of the laser cutting machine are cooling system, dust removal system, light path system, transmission system, and circuit system.  The most important maintenance parts in daily work are the cooling system, dust removal system, light path system and transmission system.  Secondly, a good working environment and routine maintenance will also prolong the replacement of machines.

  1. Maintenance of cooling system
  The water in the water cooler should be replaced regularly, usually once a week.  The water quality and temperature of the circulating water directly affect the use of the laser tube. Distilled water and purified water are recommended for the water quality. The water temperature should be controlled at about 35 degrees to ensure the effect of constant temperature.  Discontinuous water change will easily form scale, which will double the water circuit of the machine, so the water should be changed frequently.  Keep the water flowing at any time, and the cooling water is responsible for taking away the displacement produced by the laser tube.  Preferably, the water temperature is 15-20℃); when the water is cut off, the tube end will burst due to accumulation in the laser cavity, and even damage the laser power supply.  Therefore, it is necessary to check whether the cooling water is unblocked at any time.  When the water pipe is bent hard and the water pump fails, it must be repaired in time to avoid power outages or even equipment damage.
  2. Maintenance of dust removal system
  If the fan's suction is insufficient and the smoke is not exhausted smoothly, first turn off the power, remove the air inlet and outlet pipes from the fan, remove the dust inside, then turn the fan upside down, flip the blades inside until it is clean, and then install the fan.
  3. Maintenance of the optical system
  After the laser cutting machine is stopped, due to the working environment, a layer of dust will stick to the surface of the lens, which reduces the reflectance of the lens and the transmittance of the lens, and ultimately affects the working power of the laser.  Use absorbent cotton to soak in ethanol. The lens should be wiped gently to avoid damage to the surface coating; when wiping, be careful to prevent it from falling; when installing the focusing lens, make sure that the concave surface is facing down.  The number of times of use, the use of conventional punching can extend the replacement of the focusing lens.
  4. Maintenance of the transmission system
  The equipment will generate smoke and dust during the long-term cutting process, and small smoke and dust will enter the equipment through the dust cover, so that it will be on the guide frame. Long-term accumulation will increase the wear of the guide frame.  The rack rail is a relatively accurate accessory.  Long-term dust. Therefore, in order to ensure the normal and stable operation of the equipment and ensure the processing quality of the product, it is necessary to clean the dust, lubricate the rack and lubricate the guide rail with lubricating oil.  All bearings should be refueled regularly to maintain flexible driving and machining accuracy, and to extend the volume of the machine tool.
  5. Working environment
  Use the laser cutting machine workshop to keep dry and ventilated, and daily maintenance and maintenance should be done well.  Regularly check the usage of the machine, and make regular records of each part of the laser cutting machine. If the effect is not good, replace it in time, and take preventive measures.
